The Role
The role of the Senior Wellbeing Manager will lead the organisation's Wellbeing Strategy and embeds a positive, inclusive, and psychologically safe culture across all operational areas. The role ensures wellbeing is not a standalone initiative but a core part of how the organisation works, behaves, and makes decisions.
Role responsibilities
- Deliver operational wellbeing programmes to implement accessible, evidence‑based wellbeing initiatives that support operational needs with particular focus around resilience, burnout prevention and manager training on mental health conversations.
- Lead the Wellbeing Strategy by reviewing wellbeing priorities, set the strategic direction for wellbeing and embed it across the organisation.
- Shape organisational culture, champion a positive, inclusive, and psychologically safe culture aligned with organisational values.
- Represent the organisation externally by engaging with networks, partners, and professional bodies to share best practice and strengthen organisational reputation.
Who we're looking for
- A relevant professional qualificationg., CIPD 5 or 7, OH, workplace wellbeing, psychology, public health, organisational change, IOSH or NEBOSH or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of wellbeing and mental health including psychosocial risks, early intervention, and evidence‑based practice.
- Understanding of Occupational Health including fitness for work, clinical governance, and OH service delivery.
- Experience influencing organisational culture with the ability to embed wellbeing into leadership and operational practice.
Welsh Language Skills
While not essential for this role, Welsh language skills would make a great addition to your application.
