The Role
Role responsibilities
- Provide administration support for the Ops Readiness team
- Create all purchase orders and follow end to end process, ensure approval, as well as setting up new suppliers (liaison with procurement teams)
- Creating and maintaining trackers to monitor ongoing training and entry into service for new and cascaded fleet types
- Work closely with BAU leads to ensure on time and accurate reporting is provided to programme planners
- Supporting Ops Director and Heads of department with arranging meetings, provide agenda, minute taking, action tracking, document control and proficient reporting
Who we're looking for
- Good general education i.e. GCSE English & Maths or equivalent
- Experience of achieving deadlines and maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient level of EXCEL knowledge
- Power BI experience
- Good communication / presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage own workload
- Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders (internal and external)
- Well organised, with good planning skills and an eye for detail
- Knowledge and experience of finance processes (e.g. raising purchase orders, settling invoices etc)
Welsh Language Skills
While not essential for this role, Welsh language skills would make a great addition to your application.
