The Role
The Site Supervisor will support the Construction Assurance Managers and Project Managers in delivering the programme of projects across the Wales & Borders network during the completion of works on site. They will conduct site supervision in terms of safety, quality, environment, engineering/design compliance, commissioning, functionality and programme. This will involve the management of Contractors and establishing processes to control the delivery of the works. Should significant issues be encountered the role will act as a ‘trouble-shooter' to facilitate a timely resolution.
Role responsibilities

Act as a role-model for the contractors in terms of behaviours and values. Ensure Health & Safety and welfare of staff under their control. Responsible for carrying out safety briefs to all staff on site.

Undertake the detailed planning supervision for the portfolio of works

Implement efficient site supervision processes in accordance with guidelines and strategies provided by TfW Construction team, such as the Control of Contractor process.

Drive consistency in the approach taken to site supervision, implementation of processes and the management of the supply-chain, in accordance with the NEC4 suite of contractors or any other procurement and contractual framework in place.
- Undertake suitable inspections/ audits at appropriate frequencies for the portfolio of works in regard to safety, quality, environment, sustainability, engineering/ design compliance, functionality and commissioning aligned with CDM regulations
Who we're looking for
- Site Supervision experience.
- Relevant technical experience for the area of construction management being undertaken.
- Understanding of the CDM Regulations and Health & Safety regulations and industry practices.
- Knowledge and demonstratable experience of the implementation of Health, Safety, Environmental and quality management systems.
Welsh Language Skills
While not essential for this role, Welsh language skills would make a great addition to your application.
