The Role

To ensure the efficient and economical resource and rostering of train-crew on a 24-hour basis for the defined area to 
ensure the company has coverage for all of its services and station duties. The real time management, time performance 
monitoring of Traincrew and close integration with Control to ensure the timetabled service is delivered. 

Role responsibilities

• To ensure efficient resource and rostering of train-crew as dictated by Transport for Wales rostering 
  arrangements to ensure compliance with the safety case requirements and the running of the current train plan. 
  Real time management of Traincrew during disruption in North and South. This includes the implementation of 
  the Traincrew reporting point (muster point). Document and manage incoming and displaced Traincrew.
• To provide Managers with confidential reports, records and data in conjunction with train–crew and resource 
  activities.
• To provide Managers with advice in linking structures and train-crew training requirements such as route and 
  traction knowledge.
• Control of supervised and unsupervised depots to ensure the flow of management information, notice cases, 
  Traincrew notice/information and fitness for duty requirements and competencies. 

Who we're looking for

• Good IT Skills (including Crew plan, Genius, Trust 
  and Bugle.)
•  Good knowledge Rail industry geography, 
  policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills  
• Able to build relationships effectively 

Welsh Language Skills

While not essential for this role, Welsh language skills would make a great addition to your application.
