The Role

As a Duty Reporting & Information Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all information provision from TfW Control is of the highest quality, accurate, timely and in accordance with the Customer Information Pledges.

 

Role responsibilities

  • Accountable for the collation and dissemination of all information to/from TfW Control to Network Rail Control & other TOC/FOC Controls as required
  • Accountable for including/providing accurate real time train information to customers, both internal and external, through means such as disruption messaging and email messaging.
  • Provide timely and detailed incident management information to TfW Senior Managers and Exec ensuring they are fully furnished with information to deal with any stakeholder enquiries.
  • Supporting the wider control team in incident management and recovery

 

Who we're looking for

  • Ability to use decision making processes to ensure robust service levels while under pressure and ensuring excellent levels of customer information are delivered
  • Ability to manage multiple complex disruptive incidents and coordinating the team on duty
  • Ability to manage difficult situations giving clear and concise instruction, while being persistent and tenacious
  • Able to work on own initiative and manage work through prioritising
  • Good geographical knowledge of the Transport for Wales railway network is essential.  

  

Welsh Language Skills

While not essential for this role, Welsh language skills would make a great addition to your application.
